Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our North American sales team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the HVAC industry, a passion for sales, a drive for success, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Pay range amount shown includes base pay ($24.00 - $28.00 per hour) and forecasted sales commission. Actual annual totals may exceed the high-end of the range listed ($100,000.00).
Responsibilities:
- Answer customers' questions about products, prices, availability, product uses, etc.;
- Collaborate with colleagues to exchange information such as selling strategies and marketing information;
- Contact new and existing customers to discuss their needs, and to explain how these needs could be met by specific products and services;
- Emphasize product features based on analyses of customers' needs, and on technical knowledge of product capabilities and limitations;
- Identify prospective customers by using business directories, following leads from existing clients, participating in organizations, and attending trade shows and conferences;
- Maintain customer records, using CRM (HubSpot);
- Prepare sales contracts for orders obtained, and submit orders for processing;
- Quote prices, credit terms, and other bid specifications;
- Select products and assist customers in making product selections, based on described needs;
- Oversee the logistics of inbound and outbound shipments of products;
- Maintain accurate forecasts to manage inventory availability to meet the demands or market fluctuation and market share growth;
- Development and maintain relationships with finance companies and oversee the finance process to assist clients in a timely buying process;
- Oversee the technical service process to ensure clients' needs are being addressed in a timely manner.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Ideal candidate will have 2 years expertise in the HVAC industry, if possible track record of success in sales of machinery.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Results-driven, with a proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets and drive revenue growth.
- Adaptability and thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment, where you can effectively prioritize and manage multiple initiatives.
- Ability to determine the needs of a buyer and transform those needs into a sales presentation specifically designed per individual client;
- Ability to be aware of others’ reactions and understand why they react as they do;
- ability to use technology in the office and remotely to complete job requirements efficiently;
- Knowledge of the Spanish language is plus, but not required.
