The Habitat NWMA ReStore is located at 3315 South Cobb Drive SE Smyrna Georgia 30082. Store hours at 11 am to 5 pm, Tuesdays - Saturdays.

Starting compensation is $15.00/hour.
As a ReStore Retail Floor Associate & Driver, you will be a vital aspect of ReStore operations and success measures:
- You will be joining a very friendly ReStore team that is dedicated to customer service and Habitat’s overall mission
- You will be providing a much-needed boost to our very busy Habitat NWMA ReStore
- You will be a major aspect of the ReStore’s processes and overall operation
Qualifications:
- Minimum High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum one year experience working with moving and loading dock equipment
- Good customer service skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize work
- Ability to lift 50 pounds, perform heavy manual tasks, perform outside duties in all weather conditions
- Ability to safely operate moving equipment, including pallet jack and forklift
- Ability to interact positively with a variety of customers, donors, volunteers, and staff
- Ability to respond to emergency situations calmly and effectively
Responsibilities:
- Assist truck drivers with loading and unloading donations to and from the loading dock
- Assist the sales staff and loading dock staff with moving sold merchandise off the sales floor and onto the loading dock
- Assist customers on the loading dock by loading purchased merchandise and taking donations
- Assist the sales staff with arranging merchandise on the sales floor.
- Assist with keeping ReStore equipment in service and stored correctly
- Provide outstanding customer service to donors and customers, both on the loading dock and sales floor
- Supporting the ReStore Team in reaching annual goals
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize work.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds, perform heavy manual tasks, perform outside duties in all weather conditions.
- Ability to safely operate moving equipment, including pallet jack, forklift, and box truck.
- Retail experience with construction or building materials/hardware preferred.
- Ability to interact positively with a variety of customers, donors, volunteers, and staff.
- Ability to respond to emergency situations calmly and effectively.
- Act as Donation Pick-up Ambassador and/or Donation Driver Assistance (as needed).
- Forklift and box truck experience preferred.

- Ability to handle cash, credit and other transactions.
- Ability to work collaboratively as well as independently.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Valid driver license with a clean driving record.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in retail, restaurant/hospitality field, marketing, sales, or construction, or a combination of experience and education/training in at least some of these areas is required.
- Must pass criminal background, and driving record checks. Preferred driving history of 5 years or more.
