Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and efficient manner
- Take food and drink orders accurately and promptly
- Provide menu recommendations and answer questions about the menu
- Serve food and beverages to guests
- Ensure guest satisfaction by checking in with them throughout their dining experience
- Process payments and handle cash transactions
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Assist with setting up and breaking down tables for banquets or special events
Experience:
- Previous experience in the hospitality or food service industry is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of basic math skills for cash handling purposes
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
- Strong communication skills to interact with guests and team members effectively
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks efficiently
Note: Brewing, retail math, and basic math skills are not directly relevant to the role of a Host/Server.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
