We are in need of a strong , loving experienced teacher for our babies! Experience in an NAEYC accredited center is a plus. Position is Monday-Friday and immediate start if you have your DCDEE letter.
Duties:
- Attend to needs of children to include feeding, diapering and social interaction
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through play-based learning
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes diversity and cultural understanding
- Monitor and assess each child's progress and provide regular feedback to parents
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to plan and coordinate classroom activities
- Maintain accurate records as required by state regulations and company policies
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred
- Previous experience working with children in a licensed facility
- Knowledge of child development theories and best practices in early childhood education
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Understanding of special education needs and strategies for supporting children with diverse abilities
Skills:
- Early childhood education: Knowledge of age-appropriate teaching methods and curriculum
- Child welfare: Understanding of child protection policies and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of all students
- Special education: Familiarity with strategies for supporting children with special needs in an inclusive classroom setting
- Experience with children: Ability to connect with young children, build rapport, and create a nurturing learning environment
- Childhood development: Knowledge of developmental milestones and stages of childhood development
