Salary: $95-$120k

We are a global automotive supplier of pump, valvetrain, transmission and electric drive components and systems. Due to company growth, we are adding a skilled and experienced Controls Engineer to the team. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree, proven experience in manufacturing within automotive industry, and strong knowledge of Process Flow, Control Plan, PFMEA, Statistical Process, and Machine Controls.

Design electrical schematics, controls, safety, power circuits, pneumatic systems, BOM, panel layouts for custom automation systems

Conduct equipment diagnostics and design using PLC and HMI

Identify, analyze, and resolve problems, Assist with FMEAs and Control plans

Test, troubleshoot, and debug automation systems, Conduct validations, including IQ, OQ, and PQ
-
Develop and implement work instructions and SOPs

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Manufacturing, Electrical, or Mechanical)

3+ years of experience in high-volume manufacturing environment

Allen-Bradley PLC Systems required, Experience with ignition or other middleware

LabView experience preferred

SQL data management
-
Strong ability to read and comprehend complex work instructions, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals

Strong working knowledge of Process Flow, Control Plan, PFMEA, Statistical Process, Machine Controls

ISO 14001/TS 16949 familiarity

AutoCAD or other drafting software knowledge
