Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and enthusiastic Event Coordinator to join our team for West Campus Music. The ideal candidate will be extremely passionate about music and creating memorable experience. This is a paid job, but the passion and creativity must shine through.
Duties:
- Bring event ideas to the owner of the company. Must be willing to take initiative with ideas***
- Coordinate with artists, venues, vendors, and internal teams to ensure all event requirements are met
- Negotiate contracts and deals with venues and service providers to secure the best deals
- Manage event budgets effectively and provide regular progress reports
- Oversee event marketing strategies to attract attendees, increase engagement, and grow the West Campus Music brand in a proper fashion
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients and guests throughout the event
- Handle guest services including ticketing and VIP clients
- Ensure seamless execution of events by supervising setup, breakdown, and logistics
Requirements:
- Proven experience in event planning or hospitality industry
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Understanding the significance of managing time properly and recognizing which opportunities are worthwhile or not
- Knowledge of excel, video editing, content creation, digital marketing is a huge plus
This role is going to be an extremely hands-on role in which you will work 5-20 hours a week. You will be paid per event and will be compensated with bonuses by your performance. You'll be working directly with the company's owner to head the college-facing portion of the Movement Nightlife brand.
