POSITION SUMMARY
Ag diesel mechanic with a variety of shop duties. Responsible for the diagnosis and repair of equipment serviced by Grauer Repair Service, Inc. In this position, technicians are expected to perform with the highest degree of professional competence, as it relates to quality and quantity of work, product knowledge, and customer service.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Diagnoses all types of Ag machines: balers, swathers, combines, tractors, and various implements.
· Performs repairs and installation of customers’ equipment.
· Disassembles unit and inspects parts of wear.
· Repairs ignition systems, lights, and instrument panels.
· Installs and repairs headlights, electrical accessories, heaters, mirrors, windshield wipers, wiring harnesses, and armchair controls.
· Perform tire and track adjustments.
· Inspection and reseal of hydraulic systems.
· Use computer diagnostic tooling in repairing tractors.
· Other duties as assigned.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts and is responsible for taking all safety precautions to insure their own safety and of those around them. The employee will work in the shop or also as a mobile mechanic on working farms.
Compensation depends on experience. Health Benefits and Employer Match Retirement program.
