We are a large and busy medical practice in Carrollton, Tx.
Status: Full-Time Candidates should have a minimum of 1 year recent experience in the medical field or customer service and current references. However, we will consider applicants with no experience for the right person.
Responsibilities Include:
•Greeting patients
•Updating patient demographics
•Collecting co-pays and balance due from patients with an understanding of CPT codes
•Balance your batch daily
•Scanning patient Insurance card and Identification
•Assist in general office duties and other duties as required
This position also cross trains in the call center.
Required Skills/Abilities:
•Excellent customer service and communication skills is a must.
•Ability to manage multiple tasks.
•Highly motivated and organized
•Basic Computer skills
•Treat Patients and coworkers with respect
•Excel under pressure with attention to detail
•Empathetic with patient’s needs and concerns
•Experience with Centricity EMR system is a plus.
