Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and assess patients' physical conditions and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide hands-on therapy techniques such as trigger point therapy, manual therapy, and therapeutic exercises
- Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Educate patients and their families on proper techniques for managing their conditions and preventing further injury
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Requirements:
- Valid state license or certification as a Physical Therapist
- Experience working with pediatric patients is preferred
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective patient care
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, including acute care settings
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
