Responsibilities:
Supporting ISO, GMP, Green Certification, and 5-S programs
Embrace a “Safety First culture including use of LOTO, safety blocks and proper lifting techniques.
Read and understand written work instructions.
Use various hand tools and overhead hoist to install tooling and material during set up.
Become proficient in the use of measuring instruments such as calipers and tape measure.
Have a basic knowledge and understanding of engineering drawings.
Review job packets to determine material type and job specific recipe information.
Install molds and auxiliary parts into the machine including die make-ready
Input recipe information by keyboard, touch screen and physical valve adjustments
Set up and operation of the machine per work instructions and on the job training
Make minor tooling repairs
Documentation of work completed as per work instructions
Assist in troubleshooting and communicating repairs needed to Supervisor
Monitor and make adjustments as required to achieve and maintain product quality
Minimize set up time and machine downtime
Communicates pass down information to other shifts
Promotes Teamwork at ALL times
Maintain work area and equipment.
Inspect and cleaning thermoforming machine,
Qualifications:
Must have a minimum of two years' experience working in a shop / construction environment.
High school diploma/GED required.
High degree of mechanical aptitude and ability to multitask.
Some hands-on experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment such as thermoforming,
Injection Molding, stamping, printing Press, extruders, formers, trimmers, and presses is helpful.
Must pass skills test.
Good communication, math skills, logical thinking, and vision.
Classes in Industrial Engineering, mechanics, auto shop, machine shop are a plus.
Must be able to lift 60 pounds unassisted.
Able to work on foot for extended periods of time.

Swing/Evening shift (3:30 pm-12 am).
Training will be provided during the day shift.
