Alexander Rose is partnered with a rapidly growing in-home long-term care and certified home health care organization. This organization prioritizes delivering exceptional care while emphasizing patient comfort and family support. There is a need to recruit a Vice President of Business Development. This role will be crucial in driving the continued success of the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Establish the operational framework for the Business Development Department.
- Define regional roles for Business Development Managers and devise a tracking system to monitor their activities and ensure follow-up.
- Devise and execute marketing strategies and budgets targeting private pay segments in selected markets.
- Develop comprehensive strategies for large markets, particularly emphasizing areas like New York City, New Jersey, Westchester, Nassau and Suffolk counties.
- Create and execute marketing or training strategies, along with associated budgets, for specialty programs in identified target markets, in collaboration with Operations.
- Provide training on private pay and specialty program marketing strategies to Marketing Representatives, Regional Vice Presidents, and Office Administration.
- Compile a list of Long Term Care Insurance providers, Geriatric Care Management companies, and Assisted Living chains.
- Conduct marketing activities pertinent to project development.
- Analyze reports, identify regional and location-specific trend data or changes, and offer summarized insights and recommendations to the Executive team.
- Assist in the ongoing review, revision, and improvement of the contact strategy format for existing referral sources, ensuring integration of Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement (QA/PI), training, incidents/complaints, etc.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree minimum, preferably in a business or health-related field.
- Occasional travel may be necessary for business purposes. Candidates must possess a valid driver’s license issued by the state of employment and maintain a satisfactory driving record.
Experience:
- At least three years of experience in home health care with a Licensed Home Care Service Agency, Certified Home Health Agency, Long Term Home Health Care Program, Hospice Program, or similar provider, as per state regulations.
- Experience in a role involving administrative, operational, program development, and supervisory responsibilities.
- Proficiency in computerized systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in high-pressure environments.
