We are seeking an experienced Construction Supervisor to oversee and manage all on-site activities related to the construction. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, with specific experience in modular or prefabricated building processes. This role requires a hands-on leader who can ensure that all construction activities are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management:
- Oversee the entire construction process from inception to completion.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely completion of each phase.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and compliance with project requirements.
- Read and understand blueprints for all of the projects.
- Team Leadership:
- Lead and manage construction crews, subcontractors, and other on-site personnel.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, promoting a culture of safety, quality, and productivity.
- Conduct regular team meetings to communicate project goals, expectations, and progress.
- Quality Control:
- Ensure all work meets or exceeds the company’s quality standards and complies with relevant codes and regulations.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and rectify any defects or deviations from the project specifications.
- Implement and maintain a rigorous quality assurance program.
- Safety Management:
- Enforce all safety policies and procedures, ensuring a safe working environment for all personnel.
- Conduct regular safety meetings and training sessions.
- Investigate and report any accidents or incidents, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
- Resource Management:
- Manage the procurement and allocation of materials, tools, and equipment.
- Monitor and control project costs, working to minimize waste and optimize resource utilization.
- Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Communication and Reporting:
- Maintain open and effective communication with all stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
- Prepare and present regular progress reports, highlighting any issues or delays and proposing solutions.
- Document all construction activities, maintaining accurate records for future reference.
Qualifications:
- Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction management, with at least 2 years in construction.
- Proven track record of successfully managing construction projects from start to finish.
- Skills:
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Proficient in construction management software and other relevant tools.
- In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
