About the role:
This role will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the orthodontic and dental offices of EPIC4 in Mississippi. The role requires providing leadership, direction, and support to practice leads and teams to ensure both financial and operational success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of practices including management of revenue, overhead, payroll and supplies.
- Collaborate with practice teams to develop and implement tools, systems, processes, and training to enhance patient service.
- Provide coaching, mentorship, and training to key office personnel to improve leadership skills and team performance.
- Serve as a cultural leader in the region and monitor and manage team morale.·
- Establish strong partnerships with orthodontists, dentists, and teams
- Address team issues promptly as they arise.
- Visit each practice location multiple times throughout the month and conduct weekly discussions with leadership at practice locations.
- Make effective decisions based on data analysis, organizational observations, and cost controls.
- Identify opportunities within practices and create improvement action plans.
- Complete and review daily reports. Execute action plans as needed.
- Collaborate with practices on marketing efforts to increase new patients
- Oversee recruiting efforts at practices
Additional Responsibilities:
- Oversee practice location performance and operations, including daily, weekly, monthly, and annual metrics.
- Understand the practice location staffing model and manage staffing levels effectively.
- Support strategic decisions within the region and proactively bring ideas and proposals to leadership for review.
- Ensure the ultimate patient experience is delivered at each practice location.
- Support the implementation of new processes and initiatives by understanding the unique operational nuances of each practice location
- Ensure the timely and efficient adoption of initiatives.
- Review and support the management of practice location schedules and doctor coverage.
- Visit each practice location multiple times throughout the month and conduct weekly discussions with leadership at practice locations.
- Demonstrate proficiency with software practice management systems, including Ortho 2 Edge, Ortho Focus and Dentrix.
Required knowledge, skills, and experience:
- 3+ years of dental or orthodontic office experience
- 5+ years of operational management experience in the dental or orthodontic setting with demonstrated ability to drive results preferred
- Clinical and administrative experience in dental or orthodontic operations is required
- Background in multi-site operations
- Able to travel appx 60% of the time
- Superior organizational skills
- Ability to communicate effectively and in a professional manner
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to follow through on tasks, and prompt response times
- Ability to form and maintain relationships with all cross functional teams
- Computer skills, knowledge of Dental/Orthodontic Practice Management softwares is a plus, but not required
- Microsoft Office, Google Sheets, and/or Excel Spreadsheets experience

This is a full-time position that requires frequent travel to multiple locations. It is hybrid in that there are remote meetings with the practices and with EPIC4 administration on a routine basis. Relocation to the area is necessary.
