Job Summary: As a Sales Executive, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth and expanding the customer base of the organization. Your primary responsibility will be to identify and pursue new business opportunities, cultivate relationships with prospective clients, and close sales deals. You will work closely with internal teams to understand customer needs, develop tailored solutions, and deliver exceptional customer service. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success and growth of the company in a dynamic and competitive sales environment. Primary focus - Texas local government sales.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
· Prospecting and Lead Generation: Identify and research potential clients and leads through various channels, including cold calling, networking events, social media, and industry associations.
· Sales Presentations and Demonstrations: Conduct sales presentations and product demonstrations to showcase the features, benefits, and value proposition of the company's products or services to prospective clients.
· Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within target accounts, understanding their business challenges and goals, and positioning the company as a trusted partner.
· Solution Selling: Understand customer needs, pain points, and requirements, and propose tailored solutions that address their specific business challenges and deliver measurable value.
· Sales Negotiation and Closing: Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with clients to reach mutually beneficial agreements, and close sales deals in a timely and efficient manner.
· Pipeline Management: Manage sales pipeline and opportunities in CRM systems, tracking progress, updating status, and providing accurate sales forecasts to sales management.
· Customer Success: Ensure customer satisfaction and success throughout the sales process and post-sale implementation, addressing customer inquiries, resolving issues, and providing ongoing support as needed.
· Market Research and Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, competitor activities, and customer needs, and provide insights and recommendations to sales leadership.
· Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to align sales strategies with overall business objectives and deliver integrated solutions to customers.
· Continuous Learning: Continuously enhance sales skills, product knowledge, and industry expertise through training programs, workshops, and self-study, staying abreast of best practices and emerging trends in sales and business development.
Key Skills:
- Proven experience in sales, business development, or related roles, preferably in the technology or B2B sector.
- Track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets and quotas, with demonstrated success in prospecting, lead generation, and sales deal closure.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients, understand their needs, and articulate value propositions effectively.
- Excellent negotiation and persuasion skills, with the ability to influence decision-makers and close sales deals.
- Results-driven mindset with a focus on customer satisfaction and success, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service and support.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and self-motivated approach to sales activities.
- Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office suite.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience is required.
- Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings, presentations, and industry events

Pay Disclosure:
"The pay range for this position starts at $90K annually; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Bonus opportunities may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.”
