Your Canvas:
- Quality Assurance
- --> Observe site directors and teachers to ensure all camp protocols are implemented properly, and the quality of the camp experience exceeds NORY standards.
- --> Through written reports and after camp recap meetings, report the feedback of each campsite and camp staff member to set coaching goals.
- --> Train and coach teachers to become the rock stars of our campsites by fostering a positive and supportive learning environment for both teachers and camp participants.
- --> Observe and evaluate teachers' performance, providing constructive feedback to enhance teaching methods and camp experience.
- --> Build healthy and positive relationships with the teachers to learn about their struggles and provide support, including stepping in when a campsite staff member calls out.
- Child Development Insight:
- --> Coach the site directors and teachers on how to manage behavior issues and foster positive reinforcement in the classroom.
- --> Coach age-appropriate language and manner for each age group.
- --> Provide feedback to the curriculum team regarding child development aspects of the lesson plans.
- Knowledge of Special Education (Plus):
- --> Support campers with special needs and conduct positive and effective communication with parents on 1:1 Support Service.

- After NORY screens your resume and cover letter, we may conduct a pre-interview. During this step, we will present you with a series of scenarios and ask how you would approach each one. This process will provide insight into your views on pedagogy and compatibility with NORY standards.
- The pre-interview will be conducted for 20 minutes via Zoom.

Compensation and Benefits:
- Compensation: $25 - $45/hr (15-40 hours per week)
- Benefits: 401K for those who worked at NORY for 12 months or more
