Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in project management methodologies and tools, with a focus on delivering successful projects within scope, budget, and schedule.
Job Summary: As a Pavement Marking Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of pavement marking projects. You will collaborate with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and according to quality standards. Your expertise in project management, pavement marking techniques, and regulatory compliance will be essential in successfully executing projects while maintaining a strong focus on safety and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Project Planning and Coordination: Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines and resource allocation. Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure all project requirements are understood and met.
- Quality Assurance: Inspect completed markings for accuracy, clarity, and durability, making any necessary adjustments or repairs to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated on local, state, and federal regulations pertaining to pavement marking projects. Ensure all projects adhere to relevant safety and environmental regulations.
- Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions and ensure project success. Proactively address any issues or obstacles that may arise during project execution.
- Communication: Serve as the point of contact (on job site) for clients, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders. Provide regular updates on project status, milestones, and any changes to scope or schedule to Pavement Operations Manager. Foster open communication channels to address concerns and resolve issues promptly.
- Team Leadership: Lead and motivate project teams to achieve project objectives and deliver high-quality results. Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to team members, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment.
Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of pavement marking techniques, materials, and equipment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with team members.
- Solid organizational and time management abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities and the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and safety standards relevant to pavement marking projects.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with government agencies or municipalities on infrastructure projects.
- Proven success in a leadership role.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and materials (up to 50 pounds).
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Ability to stand, walk, kneel, and bend for extended periods.
