We focus primarily on high end residential properties throughout the Richmond Metro Area and provide design/build landscaping installation, custom outdoor lighting, irrigation, and white-glove maintenance services. Terra Forma Landscaping is rapidly growing and looking for someone to join immediately to manage our design/build teams in the field. This position reports directly to our Operations Manager with opportunities to grow as we acquire more businesses in the landscaping services sector. Not just a rung on the ladder, this position offers a seat at the table as we continue to grow and evolve.

Responsibilities Include:
- Directly manage design/build crews and supervise our crew leaders to ensure quality installations.
- Conduct site visits to assess project progress and make necessary adjustments
- Work directly with landscape designers and Owners for layout and installation
- Oversee and direct projects from concept to completion
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and preferences
- Build relationships with our clients and in the community.
- Select appropriate plants, trees, and materials for each project
- Schedule projects, crews, and allocate team resources
- Procure materials, equipment, and Subcontractors
- Track project changes, process change orders, and own project job costing.
- Advise on and help develop our Design/Build Operations. We want your expertise and input as we grow our design/build division.
- Assist Sales Team in making sales calls when needed and translate client ideas into design and proposals
- Assist Sales Team in estimating projects with our digital estimation platform
- Coordinate with Maintenance Manager for best practices and project crossover
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices
- Creation and ownership of operations related KPIs
- Assist in training design/build crews using our online training platforms
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in landscaping or a related field
- Strong knowledge of plant species, horticulture, and landscape design principles
- Experience supervising a team of landscapers
- Knowledge of irrigation systems and tree care techniques
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to plan and see the "big picture"
- Experience interacting directly with customers
- Strong leadership abilities
- Growth oriented mentality
- Experience with LMN or other digital landscaping management platforms is preferred but not required.
