Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Podiatry practice in Appleton, WI. As an NP or PA, you will provide high-quality care and support to patients across the lifespan. Your expertise and knowledge will be crucial in diagnosing and treating various podiatric conditions as well as working in sync with our podiatric surgeons for pre and post operative care of their surgical patients. Responsibilities:
- Non-operative Foot and Ankle care: sports medicine, orthotics, injections, follow up care, post operative management, inpatient rounding and possible first assisting in the operating room but not initially.
- Wound care
- Patient education on foot care, DM foot care, and pre op teaching.
- Foot and Ankle dermatology: warts, calluses, nail care
Requirements:
- NP or PA Certification
- Licensed in the State of Wisconsin or willing to obtain license prior to employment
- DEA License
- Proven experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physicians Assistant, preferably with podiatric or orthopedic experience
- Excellent clinical skills and ability to provide compassionate care
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a group practice
- Proficiency in electronic medical record systems
Compensation & Benefits:
