SUMMARY:
The RN is responsible for providing pre, post, and intra-procedure nursing care to patients in accordance with center policy and state licensure. To ensure patient care and safety are fulfilled, the RN will maintain an awareness of the patients in one’s assigned area of care. The RN may assist other nurses or staff members in other areas of patient care as staffing and patient care needs are required. The RN is also responsible for maintaining a clean environment and adequate supplies in their work area.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Requires considerable physical effort. Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds (lifting or moving of patients, equipment or supplies). Expected to assist in lifting or moving patients weighing a maximum of 350 pounds consistently, and occasionally assist in lifting and moving patients up to a BMI of 49. Must be able to hear, see, verbally communicate and demonstrate manual dexterity. Expected to stand intermittently an average of 10 hours in a shift and to walk an average of 5 miles in a 10-hour period independently. May work in a reaching leaning, bent over, or strained position on occasion.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Exposed to undesirable conditions intermittently such as body fluids/secretions, wounds and odors. May be directly exposed to blood or other potentially infectious diseases or hazardous materials.
MENTAL DEMANDS:
Work requires careful coordination, prioritization, and planning to ensure patient care needs are met, and the availability of supplies for that care. Must utilize critical thinking and have a solid problem-solving methodology to solve both routine and non-routine medical, technical, and/or operational problems based on general guidelines/protocols. A considerable amount of the work routine is self-supervised and having the ability to set priorities for assigned tasks is required.

Licenses or Certifications:
- Current Licensure of RN in applicable state and must be a graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing.
- Current certification of BLS.
- Current certification of ACLS (may obtain within 3 months of job acceptance).
Pay: From $33.00 per hour
