- Ensure timely delivery of quality products to customers throughout the USA, using LTL, FTL and flat-bed carriers on approved vendor list.
- Call carriers to schedule shipments, meeting ship dates
- Prepare accurate bills of lading and packing slips.
- Communicate with internal teams in various facilities related to transfers, material needs, and inventory levels
- Maintain relationships with freight carriers in order to support our logistics needs with respect to shipping our product to our customers all over the US
- Contact and negotiate with carriers to obtain quotes and services.
- Communicate frequently with customer service and planning department regarding shipping dates and status of orders.
- Examine invoices and shipping manifests for conformity tariff and customs regulations
- Manage in SAP all information related to transportation as quotes, carrier information, etc.
- Resolve all issues related with transportation and carriers
- Other duties as needed
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of related experience working in a transportation function/freight brokerage.
- High School Diploma or GED
- Proficient computer skills
- High level of integrity and reliability
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Ability and desire to work on-site in office 100% of the time.
- Detail-oriented with ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- SAP knowledge.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $58,000.00 per year
