Our client, a pioneering force in healthcare, is seeking a dynamic Human Resources Business Partner to join their team. As the HRBP, you will be responsible for a wide range of HR-related duties on a professional level, including employee relations and engagement, onboarding, policy design, and more. Working hand in hand with department leaders, you will anticipate and address the evolving HR needs of this visionary organization.
Position Summary:
The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) acts as a strategic partner to designated business units, aligning business objectives and goals with employees and management. The HRBP formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added services to management and employees that reflect the business objectives of the organization. The HRBP will also ensure the quality of Human Resource service delivery through effective collaboration with all members of the HR department and consistent application of HR policies, processes, and systems. The HRBP will work collaboratively with designated clinical and operations leaders to incorporate human resource expertise to support and maximize team/departmental performance.
Position Responsibilities: Essential
- Consults with management on organization and human capital issues such as employee development, business unit restructures, succession planning, workforce planning, retention, training and diversity.
- Consults with and provides guidance to both managers and employees regarding a variety of issues, including conflict resolution, career development, performance improvement, corrective counseling, and other HR issues as needed.
- Identifies and executes opportunities to promote and disseminate information on company culture and values to new and existing employees and clinicians.
- Builds collaborative relationships with others throughout the organization and within HR department to resolve HR-related issues and questions.
- Establishes trust and credibility for HR through daily interactions.
- Handles confidential/sensitive information while communicating with various levels in the organization.
- Acts as an internal consultant by analyzing and observing process design to identify barriers to successful outcomes.
- Develops and deploys strategy and tactics to enhance the effectiveness of employee and clinician onboarding and retention.
- Acts as a change agent with an emphasis on aligning business practice with company’s mission and values.
- Consults with leaders to develop and execute business strategy, while considering cultural implications.
- Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues. Conduct effective, thorough, and objective investigations.
- Conducts regular follow-up with employees to determine the effectiveness of recruiting, onboarding and training.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partner with the legal department as needed.
- Participates in developing HR department goals and objectives and in recommending new approaches, practices and procedures for continual process improvement.
- Ensures HR practices and management decisions are in compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Manages HR projects and implementations.
- Perform other special projects as assigned.
Experience/Education:
- Bachelor's degree required in business administration or HR related field.
- Supervisory experience desired
- Experience working with clinicians preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Proven relationship-building skills that develop partnerships to drive results.
- Thorough knowledge of state and federal laws pertaining to Human Resources
- Proficiency in MS Office tools like PowerPoint, Excel and Word
- Must have strong analytical and critical thinking, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Effective oral and written communication skills; ability to present information to executive-level management.
- Ability to work with various departments and foster teamwork.
- Ability to maintain the highly confidential nature of human resources work.
- Excellent organizational skills
- Demonstrate resourcefulness and initiative in dealing with daily assumptions.
- Team-oriented with strong influence and negotiation skills.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

Certificates and Licenses:
- PHR/SPHR certification preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
