Human Resource Clerk
The Human Resource Clerk is responsible for processing day to day HR tasks. Supports HR Team with miscellaneous functions and provides HR services to employees. This position is the first point of contact for employee issues within the assigned functional areas. The functional responsibilities include - but are not limited to - payroll, time/attendance, file management and various clerical duties as assigned
Position Functions:
· Initial point of contact between employees and Human Resources
· Administration and tracking of employee attendance point system
· Coordination and maintenance of HR and government regulated programs, including but not limited to, federal/state labor postings, DOL 7-day permit, employment verifications, wage and hour law compliance and check requests
· Serve as back-up to Payroll
· Enter required data into Workday (HRIS) system
· Support the HR Rep. / HR Generalist and HRBP with various HR assignments
Clerical duties:
· Maintain department filing system, log HR requests, create and translate memos and postings, sort and distribute mail and faxes, maintain HR expense budget and order office supplies
· Create employee badges
· Facilitate New Hire Orientation
· Support special projects as needed
· Maintain HR communication boards
· Perform other duties as assigned
Position Skills & Qualifications Desired:
· Computer literate (MS Office: Excel, Word and Power Point)
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written)
· Bilingual
Position Experience Qualifications:
· Previous experience processing payroll
· Experience working in a manufacturing environment
· Workday experience
· Experience within a Human Resources environment a plus
· Minimum of one-year clerical experience
Must Have: Vietnamese and English Speaking Required
