Position Description:
This is a fully remote position. The Bi-Lingual Telephonic Health Coach is a passionate, experienced health professionals who helps support and encourage participants to get started and stay motivated as they work toward reaching their health goals. Using their coaching competencies and customer service skills, the Bi-Lingual Telephonic Health Coach plays a key role in the successful engagement and activation of participants. Through risk factor identification of identified chronic conditions, goal setting, education, and emotional support, the Bi-Lingual Telephonic Health Coach engages with participants to ensure clinical testing adherence, medication compliance, and lifestyle changes that address their chronic health conditions.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct coaching sessions to support goal setting and behavior change, and assist participants with Kannact’s mobile app and clinical device setup

Manage a caseload of participants seeking to improve their health and prevent/manage their chronic conditions, and meet a standard of engagement as determined by Kannact

Achieve established engagement goals and foster meaningful relationships with assigned participants through phone calls, secure messaging, and the Kannact app

Hold participants accountable through regular check-ins and proactive outreach

Share observations and feedback of Kannact’s product based on interactions with participants

Use educational content (videos, etc.) to promote healthy behavior adoption

Respond to alerts and web or phone messages from participants in timely manner

Complete accurate documentation in participant’s dashboard after each engagement

Maintain privacy of participant health data by following Kannact protocols

Salary and Benefits:
Competitive salary commensurate with experience. Potential to earn incentive pay when productivity and quality targets are met. Benefits available above 30 hours/week: medical, dental, and vision. Flexible vacation.
Work Environment
Ability to work virtually; must have internet connectivity at home. Position will require extensive time sitting and viewing computer screens and talking and listening on the phone. The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger handle or feel; reach with hands and arms.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a part-time position with an option to move into a full-time position as demand grows.

Compensation
$40/hour for part-time. Full-time position is salaried at $55,000-$60,000 per year.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a health-related field (Kinesiology, Nutrition, Public Health, etc.)

Certified Health Coach from a program approved by the NBHWC (Required)

Board Certified by the NBHWC (Preferred)

Experience coaching and working with individuals from a Marshallese community
-
Bilingual in English/Marshallese (Required)
