Assists the Director of Nursing in supervision of the overall clinical operation on a daily basis.
Responsiblities:
- Assists in directing day-to-day office and clinical operations.
- Quality Assurance, including reviewing charts and notes
- Staff Education and in-servicing, creates and implements effective educational training programs.
- Staff preparation for the OASIS
- Reviewing OASIS for complete and correct billing information.
- Daily monitoring of home visits and services provided.
- Manages and resolves concerns and issues.
- Manages the quality and timeliness of daily functions through scheduling, monitoring attendance, and supervising assigned staff.
- Knowledge of leading practices in clinical care and payor requirements
- Ensures accuracy of reporting and supports clinical billing.
- Coordinates audit requests from internal and external sources.
- Ensuring customer satisfaction.
Qualifcations:
- Active RN license in the State of Texas
- Must have a minimum of 1 year of recent supervisory experience in home care industry.
- Knowledge of State and Federal regulations governing home health care.
- Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Must be able to lead and direct staff effectively.
- Working knowledge of managed care and Medicare reimbursed home health services as well as utilization and case management.
- Positive attitude and ability to work in fast-paced environment.
- Computer software skills: Word, Excel, Power Point, Internet, ECS systems.
