The Medical Direct Support Professional first and foremost ensures that all supervision requirements are met for their persons served, in accordance with each individual IAPP.
Generally, the Medical DSP works with a variety of clients both male and female. They assist clients with their daily routines, implement individual program plans, document client progress, and respond to meet service needs, while ensuring the safety and wellbeing of the clients. Medical DSP perform all job duties in accordance with established policies and procedures contained in the Policy and Procedure Manual and Employee Handbook.
