Duties:
- Oversee the financial operations of the company, including financial analysis, financial management, and account analysis.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, budgets, and forecasts to provide insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Conduct regular account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.
- Collaborate with other departments to develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive business growth and profitability.
- Implement and maintain accounting systems, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Manage cash flow by monitoring accounts receivable and payable, making recommendations for improvement as needed.
- Coordinate with external auditors during annual audits.
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA designation is preferred.
- Proven experience as a Controller or similar role, with a strong background in financial analysis and management.
- Proficiency in using accounting software such as Xero, Sage, or QuickBooks.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in preparing financial statements and reports.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and present financial information to stakeholders.
