About the Role:
As a Control Systems Engineer, you'll spearhead the design and implementation of advanced control systems for our state-of-the-art ground station antennas. You'll work alongside a highly collaborative and multidisciplinary team, leveraging your expertise to optimize performance and reliability in satellite tracking. Responsibilities:
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Over 10 years of experience in control systems within automated systems, with a preference for antenna design expertise.
- Proven proficiency in brushless DC motors, servo drives, and motion control systems.
- Strong command of embedded C programming for control applications.
- Experience in designing electrical and control system architectures, including experience with CAN bus, CANopen (preferred) or similar protocols.
- Exceptional analytical skills with a creative approach to problem-solving.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a meticulous attention to detail.
- Proficiency in MS Office and engineering design software.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and deliver results within deadlines.
- Demonstrated leadership in driving engineering projects from inception to successful completion.
This position requires potential access to technology controlled under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR). The successful candidate must be a “U.S. Person” as defined under ITAR and EAR. In order to be a U.S. Person for ITAR and EAR purposes, you must (i) be a citizen or national of the United States; or (ii) be a lawful permanent resident of the United States; or (iii) a protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3).
