The ideal candidate will have phlebotomy experience and will enjoy a balanced role, splitting their time equally between assisting physicians with patient care—performing medical tests, administering medications, and providing patient education—and managing essential administrative tasks.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be highly organized, detail-oriented, and have a passion for helping others. Competitive pay, based on experience.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of bariatric patients for surgery.
- Assist in the post-operative care of bariatric patients.
- Provide dietary counseling and education to bariatric patients.
- Perform basic medical tests, such as taking vital signs and drawing blood samples.
- Assist physicians with minor surgical procedures.
- Maintain patient records and charts.
- Hours are M-F: 7:45-4:00 with a lunch.
