Job Summary:
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Medical Device Testing Technician and Inventory Specialist to join our team. This dual-role position is responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of medical devices through rigorous testing procedures. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to efficiently handle inventory management tasks.
Responsibilities and Duties – Testing Technician
- Basic electronic knowledge
- Ability to follow testing procedures
- This position includes detailed assembly and testing of various medical devices in a controlled environment.
- Performs testing of electronic components and assemblies using automated test equipment
- Work with cross-functional teams to identify and address any issues that arise during the certification process
- Maintains accurate records to ensure Device History Records and quality documents are accurate, all parts are traceable and quality issues can be addressed to assure the quality of all products.
- Aid in special projects and management requests as needed.
Responsibilities and Duties – Inventory Specialist
- Update purchasing and receiving reports.
- Update shipping reports daily.
- Ship completed repairs or part sales.
- Drop ship to courier services hubs.
- Review work orders to ensure parts listed match inventory list.
- Coordinate with service team to investigate part discrepancies.
- Maintain the inventory organization
- Conduct physical item counts within the shop to manage par levels.
- Verify all warehouse and trunk stock items.
- Execute cyclical inventory audits that include counting current stock quantities.
- Review inventory reports and historical records to determine discrepancies with accounting department.
- Off-site inventory projects when necessary.
- Daily tracking and monitoring of inventory activity in the field and communication with the field regarding unusual adjustments.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATION:
- Education: High school, some college preferred
- Work Experience: Background inventory management.
- Computer Skills: Strong working knowledge of Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Ability to work varied hours to meet specific project and quarterly demands
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work as a team and independently
- Problem solving skills
