Lead Radiology Tech Job Description
The Lead Radiologic Technologist has responsibility:
*Works closely with all areas and qualified technologists, lead technologists, radiologists, clinicians, and clerical staff to ensure efficient coordination of activities, high quality diagnostic exam results, optimum quality control and patient satisfaction.
*Evaluates critical and emergency procedures and rearranges schedule to accommodate the situation.
*Provide technical and professional services as delegated by the Radiology Manager.
*Assists the Radiology Manager on a daily basis. Maybe assigned to other duties, technical or non-technical, if training, experience, and credentials are deemed adequate by the supervisor to perform those duties.
*Gives input to the Supervisor concerning room and staff schedules.
*Provides comments and observations regarding team members’ performance, conduct, and skills to the Supervisor.
* Participates in the selection of candidates and completes the skills checklist for new hires.
* In the absence of the Supervisor, serves as primary contact for technologists’ questions orissues.
Minimum knowledge, skills, and abilities:
* Graduate of a program for Radiologic Technologists.
* ARRT registered.
*TMB registered.
* Previous hospital ER experience required.
* CT experience and skills required.
* Current CPR BLS required.
* When covering call, must be able to respond to the facility within 60 minutes of the call.
* Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
* High degree of empathetic listening, tact and kindness toward others.
* Ability to ensure work flow is organized and efficient
* Ability to communicate well verbally. Must work effectively as a member of a team.
*Previous experience in: scheduling, payroll, and training preferred

Pay: $38.00 - $40.00 per hour
