We are seeking a talented Digital Production coordinator to oversee the end-to-end process of digital content delivery and ensure seamless operations across our platform. This role serves as the primary liaison between the company and service providers, playing a pivotal role in maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency in our digital distribution services.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Content Management:
- Coordinate the intake, organization, and delivery of digital audio and video content to various partners (including DSPs) according to their specifications.
- Ensure all content meets required technical specifications and quality standards.
2. Digital Distribution Operations:
- Manage the distribution process across various digital platforms (e.g., Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music) through packaging partners.
- Administer and maintain metadata for accurate content identification and tracking.
3. Quality Control:
- Conduct thorough quality checks on digital content to guarantee optimal playback and user experience.
- Ensure all content meets DSP standards in terms of quality, format, and metadata accuracy.
4. Workflow Optimization:
- Develop and optimize workflows to streamline content ingestion, processing, and delivery.
- Identify opportunities for automation and efficiency improvements.
5. Client Support:
- Serve as a primary point of contact for clients regarding content delivery and technical inquiries.
- Provide guidance on best practices for digital content preparation.
6. Collaboration:
- Coordinate with content creators, rights holders, and internal teams (legal, marketing, technical) to ensure timely content delivery.
- Participate in digital release strategy planning and execution.
7. Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with copyright, licensing agreements, and DSP-specific policies.
8. Troubleshooting:
- Resolve issues related to content delivery, metadata discrepancies, or technical problems.
9. Reporting and Analytics:
- Track delivery metrics and performance analytics to assess content delivery effectiveness.
10. Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain relationships with DSPs to stay updated on platform changes and best practices.
11. Emerging Technologies:
- Stay informed about industry trends and advancements in digital delivery technologies.
Requirements:
- Proven experience (2 years) in digital production management within the music industry or related field.
- Deep understanding of digital content formats, metadata standards, and digital rights management.
- Strong technical proficiency with digital audio formats, encoding tools, and content management systems.
- Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Music Business, Digital Media, or related field preferred.
