Job Tite: CIP and Pasteurization Operator
Responsibilities:
- Pasteurization Operations:
- Operate pasteurization equipment to heat-treat dairy products according to specified standards.
- Monitor temperature, pressure, and other relevant parameters during the pasteurization process.
- Conduct routine checks and adjustments to ensure product quality and adherence to safety guidelines.
- pH adjust product if necessary and document.
- Clean-in-Place (CIP) Management:
- Execute CIP procedures to clean and sanitize processing equipment and pipelines.
- Disassemble and reassemble equipment for thorough cleaning.
- Monitor chemical concentrations and temperatures during CIP cycles.
- Maintain records of CIP activities and document any deviations or issues.
- Loading and Unloading Liquid Trucks:
- In charge of loading and unloading trucks in a safe and timely manner.
- Document incoming and outgoing liquid.
- Ensure lines and equipment used have been cleaned and sanitized after each use to prevent any cross – contamination of products.
- Equipment Maintenance:
- Perform routine maintenance on pasteurization and CIP equipment.
- Identify and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, collaborating with the maintenance team for repairs when necessary.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and document any equipment issues promptly.
- Quality Control:
- Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Implement corrective actions in case of deviations from quality specifications.
- Collaborate with the quality assurance team to address quality concerns.
- Process Documentation:
- Document standard operating procedures (SOPs) for pasteurization and CIP processes.
- Keep detailed records of process parameters, equipment settings, and any adjustments made during operations.
- Update and maintain accurate documentation of all relevant processes for future reference and training purposes.
- Work Area Cleanliness:
- Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times.
- Adhere to hygiene and sanitation protocols to prevent contamination.
- Clean up work areas after each task and ensure proper disposal of waste.
- Safety Compliance:
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Participate in safety training programs and promote a safety-first culture.
- Additional Duties During Downtime:
- Assist other employees in various tasks as directed by supervisors.
- Follow supervisor instructions for additional duties during system downtime, contributing to overall plant efficiency.
- Engage in sanitation activities to ensure a hygienic working environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.69 - $24.91 per hour
Expected hours: 48 per week
