This role requires someone who is comfortable wearing many hats, adept at problem-solving, and has a strong aptitude for numbers. As this is an in-office position with minimal oversight, the ideal candidate must take ownership of their work, function with little to no oversight, and be reliable. The role entails working alone a majority of the time, requiring self-sufficiency and the ability to manage tasks independently.
*Key Responsibilities:*
* Oversee day-to-day operations of commercial properties, including leasing, tenant relations, maintenance, and financial management.
* Maintain property information on platforms such as Co-Star and LoopNet.
* Conduct bookkeeping tasks such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and invoicing.
* Manage record-keeping for the business, including maintaining accurate and organized files for financial transactions, contracts, and correspondence.
* Develop and maintain positive relationships with tenants, vendors, and contractors.
* Provide comprehensive lease administration tasks such as invoicing, maintenance coordination, and ensuring tenants are in compliance with lease agreements.
* Implement strategies to maximize property value and revenue.
* Stay informed about market trends, industry best practices, and regulatory changes.
* Perform other duties as assigned.
*Qualifications:*
* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, Finance, or related field preferred.
* Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial property management with a strong background in bookkeeping.
* Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Strong understanding of lease agreements, financial analysis, and property operations.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
* Proven ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
