Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Residential Clinical Director to join our team. As a Residential Clinical Director, you are responsible for providing leadership and support to the residential team, including all clinical staff, development and overall quality improvement of services.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for clinical training and management of all clinicians this includes processes, procedures, Safety protocols and supervision.
- Ensure quality, ethical and evidence-based groups, individual and family therapy occur at each facility.
- Ensures proper documentation for all clients are being completed in a timely manner.
- Create and maintain a positive and affirming work environment.
- Create clear expectations of all team members and work to maintain accountability within the clinical department. Work closely and collaboratively with the Sr. Clinical Director, Facility Managers and HR on all performance and programmatic improvement initiatives.
- Assists therapists in the coordination and successful completion of EMR records management.
- Provides QA for documentation and actively participates in weekly treatment team meetings overseeing and approving discharge recommendations from treatment as needed.
- Provides and or participates in on-going in-service training and continuing education on a regular basis for clinical staff as needed or directed.
- Coordinates and/or provides effective supervision for all clinical staff in accordance with all applicable standards as needed
- Performs other related duties, as required.
Skills:
- Must hold a Master’s Degree, from an accredited or state approved graduate school in marriage family therapy, counseling, psychology or social work.
- Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Clinical Psychologist, or Clinical Social Worker required.
- Experienced in eating disorder, a plus.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and eligibility for insurance with agency’s vehicle.
- Has a working knowledge of Psychopathology, Diagnostic assessment, and related treatment interventions.
- Proficient in basic technology and computer skills. KIPU EMR a plus.
- Must maintain First Aid, CPR, Pro-Act training.
- Minimum of 2 years of related field experience, must be able to supervise AMFT and ACSW's.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience as a Program Director preferred.
- Means to travel from one office to another, required as necessary
- Ability to plan and manage time effectively in performing essential functions of the position.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $115,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
