We are looking for a candidate that is proficient with problem-solving, customer service skills; has strong attention to detail and follow-up; has a strong desire to learn new skills and processes; and interested in security access control and monitoring systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

Will create, update, and maintain daily/weekly reports.

Act as an essential element within the global security operation center (GSOC) that functions on a 24/7 basis, addressing all matters pertaining to business operations, emergencies and business intelligence.

Prioritizes critical information, incidents, emergent situations, travel reports, imminent weather alerts and natural disaster forecasts, and other data points as they emerge on a case-by-case basis.

Serve as a critical Point of Contact (POC) for incoming and outgoing requests of service across the enterprise.

As a member of the contract security team, understand and relay information with proper escalation protocols using the proper Chain of Command.

Provide direct mission support for responses to physical security incidences, event support, and emerging emergency response operations.

Assist and advise the Shift Lead and Assistance Operations & GSOC Manager in all operational matters and procedures.

Must remain prepared to assume additional responsibilities required in response to contingencies and crises.

Responsible for updating where necessary or directed, relevant protocols and procedures.

Responsible for training new watch officers and security in GSOC responsibilities and procedures, as they are onboarded and rotate into the GSOC.

Participate and support regular training and tabletop exercises.

Other duties as assigned.
Shifts include: Friday- Monday 10:45pm to 7:15am
Hourly starting wage: $20.50/hr
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Experience with access control systems and CCTV monitoring systems.

Strong working knowledge of MS Office products.

Proficient with Internet Applications

Time management skills

Self-motivated

Ability to work under pressure in a dynamic environment.

Able to learn quickly, follow instructions and work independently

Team player with a commitment to meeting deadlines

Good communication skills

Ability to tolerate somewhat high volume and repetitious tasks.

Ability to safeguard and communicate sensitive information
Qualifications:
-
High school diploma or GED equivalent
-
Must have a valid Security Guard License
-
Must have 2 years of experience as a security officer
-
Must have open availability to work all shifts and schedules
-
Minimum 1 year of customer service experience required
-
Minimum 1 year of call center experience required

Must have reliable transportation
-
Must have good communications skills
-
Ability to stand or walk for long periods
-
Must be able to walk/run flights of stairs on a daily basis.

Ability to think clearly during crisis or high-stress periods
-
Must be reliable, have a positive attitude, and uphold ethical behavior"

Two years of post-high school education/training or equivalent experience in private security.

Previous Dispatch or Security Operations Center
