Position Details:
The Panel Builder / Wireman is responsible for manufacturing and assembling control system designs developed by the engineering department. Working closely with designers, engineers, and quality control team members the Panel Builder is empowered to provide feedback and suggestions to the responsible team members to elevate the quality of product our organization provides to our end users. Following design documents, installation directions, quality control procedures, and applying redlines as needed are all essential aspects to providing a reliable and quality driven result required by Panel Builder’s and Wireman involved in an everyday team effort.
Additional position details:
This role will report to various individuals including Project Managers, and collaborate with field personnel, designers, engineers, and vendors, at times where applicable. Success in this role comes from having a high attention to detail, genuine curiosity, and a proactive mindset. The Panel Builder must be able to address their questions, concerns and curiosities head on with difficult conversation and situations. Approaching projects while considering every phase of execution including design, procurement, manufacturing, quality control, testing, packaging, shipping etc. ensuring the nuanced issues or challenges are proactively addressed and resolving issues that could arise, to complete the successful completion of each project.
Position Requirements:
- Proven experience performing Control Systems Manufacturing
- Ability to lift +50lbs regularly throughout the work day
- Ability to work with hand, hand tools, and power tools
- Ability to read a Tape Measure, mark out, and mock up components dimensionally
- Ability to read basic electrical wiring schematics
- Highly proficient with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
- Reliable transportation to and from work arriving on time and prepared to work
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to travel to Jobsites.
- Experience in commercial or industrial electrical systems.
- Demonstrated experience using AutoCAD required and LSP
- OSHA 10 and forklift certification
