Position Title: Construction Foreman
The Construction Foreman is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the work of the construction crew on various projects. This role involves managing daily operations on the construction site, ensuring that projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. The Foreman acts as a liaison between the workers and the management team, ensuring effective communication and efficient workflow.

Site Supervision:
· Supervise and coordinate activities of construction workers.
· Assign tasks to laborers, craftsmen, and other construction workers.
· Monitor work progress and ensure adherence to plans and specifications.
Safety Management:
· Ensure compliance with safety regulations and guidelines.
· Conduct regular safety meetings and site inspections.
· Address any safety concerns and implement corrective actions.
Quality Control:
· Inspect work for quality and adherence to standards.
· Identify and rectify any issues or defects.
· Maintain a high standard of workmanship.
Scheduling and Planning:
· Develop and manage project schedules.
· Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
· Ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
Communication:
· Liaise with project managers and clients to communicate project status and requirements.
· Prepare and submit reports on progress, job status, and any issues.
· Facilitate effective communication among team members.
Resource Management:
· Manage and optimize the use of labor, materials, and equipment.
· Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
· Ensure tools and machinery are properly maintained and used.
Problem-Solving:
· Address and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise on site.
· Implement solutions to improve efficiency and productivity.
· Adapt to changes in project scope or schedule.

Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certifications are a plus.
· Proven experience as a Construction Foreman or similar supervisory role.
· In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, and OSHA safety guidelines.
· Strong leadership and organizational skills.
· Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Proficient in using construction management software and tools.
· Physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions.
Preferred Skills:
· Certification in first aid and CPR.
· Experience with project management software (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend).
· Knowledge of specific construction trades (e.g., carpentry, plumbing, electrical).
Working Conditions:
· Work is performed primarily on construction sites.
· Exposure to various weather conditions and loud noises.
· May require working long hours, including evenings and weekends, depending on project deadlines.
