We are seeking an experienced HR Coordinator who will be responsible for the management of daily operations, employee training and HR-related projects. This is not a remote position and is a 40 hour week schedule.
Key Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Daily interaction with both Management and Employees
- Manage Daily time clock entries and variances
- Administer the employee benefit program.
- Organize and coordinate recruitment and hiring processes.
- Maintain personnel records both digital and hardcopy.
- Assists with the preparation of the performance review process.
- Review and discuss disciplinary recommendations with supervisors including terminations.
- Coordinate and facilitate all aspects of the on-boarding and exit processes.
- Maintain a climate of positive employee relations.
- Maintain OSHA, Workers' Compensation and Safety Programs
Compliance
- Ensure required employment law postings are current.
- Conduct I-9 audits to ensure expired documents are current/recertified.
- Perform routine audits, checks and verifications of specified human resources functions.
Employee Relations
- Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions.
- Investigate employee complaints, prepare documentation, and recommend appropriate course of action.
- Report escalated issues to COO.
- Maintain HRIS
- Develop and conduct training on HR related subjects.
Qualifications:
- Self Motivated and attention to detail
- Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English.
- Experience working in human resources in manufacturing.
- Associates Degree in Human Resource or another related field
- Knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations
- Intermediate to advance MS Office and Outlook skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and time management skills
- Bi-lingual is a plus!
- PHR or SHRM-CP a plus
