MUSIC SCHOOL - RECEPTIONIST/ OFFICE COORDINATOR
Toledo’s largest and fastest-growing Music School for Private Music Lessons is now hiring an additional Full-Time front desk team member. This position performs high-volume tasks in a fast-paced environment, with focus on details & excellence.
Looking for an individual ready to give OVER THE TOP CUSTOMER SERVICE, with a warm personality, who loves people, is very detail-oriented, has good computer & communication skills, and is an independent worker/problem solver.

SCHEDULE:
- 40 hours per week, 5 days per week
- Tentative Schedule below - with possible Rotating Schedule (Alternating Morning/Evening/Weekend hours):
Monday: 1 - 9PM
Tuesday: 12PM - 7PM
Wednesday: 12PM - 8PM
Thursday: 9AM - 6PM
Friday: 9AM - 5PM
Role Summary:
You will orchestrate the daily operations of our music school, ensuring every visitor feels valued and every detail is meticulously managed.
- Answering phones, following up with clients via calls/emails/messaging (Looking for the GOLDEN VOICE that will brighten the day of our customers, with great tone and excitement)
- Providing over-the-top customer service to everyone who walks through the Music School doors, making them feel welcomed, heard, and appreciated
- Daily interaction with young students, their parents, adult students, teachers, staff
- Registering clients/processing paperwork
- An ability to sell our services as the best music lesson experience in the Toledo area
- Selling minimal retail/supplies at the desk
- Keeping the office, school, waiting area tidy and presentable (involves light cleaning)
- Taking pictures/videos of students and teachers
- Processing pictures/videos of our students/posting on our social media
- Assisting with coordinating 2 large student performances per year, as well as 2-3 smaller events per year
ROOM FOR ADVANCEMENT IN PAY & PROFESSIONAL GROWTH AFTER TAKING ON SOME ADDITIONAL TASKS AS:
- Creating monthly Newsletter
- Producing Press Releases for events
- Coordinating other outreach events
- Giving orientation/training to office interns, entry-level employees, or personnel
- Maintaining a well-stocked office/purchasing/ordering missing items/inventory
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience in any position that is fast-paced, with a lot of interaction with the public such as Restaurant, Hotel, Retail, Medical Office, Veterinarian Office, Salon, etc.
- Professional attitude and appearance
- Solid written and communication skills
- Comfortable with Apple products (front desk computers are Apple)
- High attention to detail and strong communication skills.
- Ability to follow directions, multi-task, meet deadlines, and achieve monthly registration goals.
- Ability to assist run-out events/student performances
