Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Facilities Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in the maintenance and operation of our facilities, ensuring a safe and functional environment for all occupants.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs, fixing minor plumbing issues, and repairing furniture.
- Assist in conducting regular inspections to identify and address facility maintenance needs.
- Support in supervising external contractors during maintenance or repair projects.
- Maintain accurate records of facility-related work orders and repairs.
- Assist with setting up and tearing down equipment for events or meetings.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols.
Experience:
- The ideal candidate should possess the following skills:
- Proficiency in English for effective communication.
- Familiarity with using an Ohmmeter for electrical troubleshooting.
- Experience in painting for touch-ups and minor renovations.
Requirements:
Knowledge of facilities maintenance practices and procedures.
Mechanical knowledge for handling basic repairs.
Ability to read and interpret schematics for facility equipment.
