STK Homes is a fast-growing residential home building company based in Edmond, OK. We are looking for an experienced Warranty/Customer Care Coordinator to join our team. This position is primarily responsible for supporting warranty activity by interacting with homeowners through our warranty portal and by phone, to capture and document warranty requests and assist the Warranty Manager to schedule and address warranty repairs. The Warranty/Customer Care position communicates our customer care home maintenance program through emails and other channels of communication.
Job Duties:
- Execute a proactive communication strategy to homeowners.
- Receive warranty requests and cross reference the warranty manual to evaluate whether homeowner request falls within the warranty.
- With Warranty Manager schedule warranty tickets through the proper channels.
- Maintain warranty tracking information and provide reports to management.
- Establish and maintain positive customer relationships.
- Determine trade accountability for back charges and VPOs
- Authorize payment for work performed up to approval limits.
- Ensure that warranty communication is consistently documented.
- Responsible for customer satisfaction metrics related to warranty customer service.
Qualifications include:
· High School Diploma, with college degree preferred.
· Previous experience in the home building industry preferred.
· Home building purchasing experience is a plus.
· Detail oriented, with the ability to multitask.
· A positive attitude and good social/interpersonal skills are essential.
· Must be able to deal with and remain calm in confrontational situations.
· Previous experience in the home building industry is preferred.
· A team player that will be able to work closely with Homeowners, Superintendents, and Sub-contractors in a fast-paced environment.
