Job description
We are looking for a qualified Payroll Coordinator to assist in all activities regarding the management of employee compensation in the company. You will undertake a variety of tasks such as audit timesheets, enter time worked, and verify schedules.
An excellent payroll clerk has great understanding of the concept of confidentiality. You will be experienced in entering data with attention to detail and will have good math skills to make the necessary calculations. The ideal candidate will be a thorough professional with good communication abilities.
Responsibilities:
- Produce various documents, reports, spread sheets, etc.
- Print, audit, input, and file timesheets.
- Data entry for time worked for all employees.
- Answer phones and reply to emails.
- Ensure proper procedures are in place for safeguarding of confidential information.
- Other duties as required.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma is required.
- Strong clerical and organizational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- High degree of organizational, planning, and communication skills.
- Problem solving skills.
- Independent judgment and decision-making ability.
- Honesty, integrity, and professionalism.
- Self-discipline with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Ability to maintain confidential information using discretion and diplomacy.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Flexibility and willingness to learn.
