JOB PURPOSE:
Use your energy and drive to help ensure a clean and comfortable restaurant for our guests. Responsible for maintaining the interior and exterior of the restaurants.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure the restaurant is “guest ready” in all public areas including supplies being stocked, areas organized, tidy, safe and hygienic.
- Assist with the unloading of deliveries. Put away food orders, accurately, ensuring stock is rotated in all storage areas, including freezer, dry storage and coolers. Monitors the shelf life of all products.
- Demonstrates sanitation and food safety practices regularly and consistently.
- Ensure the restaurant is always safe and secure.
- Maintain the appearance of the exterior of the building, including landscaping, snow removal, signage, tables and chairs, as well as garbage receptacles as directed along with vendors.
- Maintain the interior of the building, including all floors, walls, light fixtures, signage, waste receptacles, and tables and chairs.
- Follows all company safety guidelines at all times and looks out for the safety of our customers, vendors and other team members communicating accordingly.
- Maintains a basic working knowledge of all equipment in the restaurant.
- Completes scheduled maintenance on all restaurant equipment safely and correctly.
- Dresses according to Uniform policy, including following personal hygiene guidelines.
- Demonstrates Teamwork by helping others when they need it without having to be asked, coaches and supports other team members.
- Assist other team members and management as needed.
- Assist in maintaining a safe working environment.
- Present professional demeanor in attire, language and attitude.
- Must purchase and wear appropriate uniform.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Cleaning experience required.
- Light maintenance experience a plus (i.e., changing lightbulbs)
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is:
- Frequently required to stand, walk, use hands and fingers to handle and feel, and reach and clean with hands and arms.
- Frequently required to bend, kneel, crouch, climb stairs, and reach overhead.
- Walking through the dining room on carpeted and hard wood flooring.
- Moderate to heavy lifting is required. (up to 50 pounds)
- Position dictates working in a fast-paced environment.
