RESPONSIBILITIES
- Professionally lead shifts as the manager on duty.
- Ensure stocks of inventory are maintained.
- Confirm guest reservations and cancellations.
- Interact with guests and members in a friendly, courteous and efficient manner.
- Open and Close for start and end of business.
- Ensure cafe is clean, functioning, maintained up to DOH standards and prepared for daily service.
- Work effectively across departments.
- Ensure key admin functions are consistently carried out.
- Act as the right hand to the Restaurant Manager, to ensure that guests receive the best possible experience every single time.
- Assist with building and training an extraordinary service team, ensuring they are well trained and consistently supported, and leading them through service.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
- Able to work a varied schedule that include nights and weekends.
- A friendly, positive attitude and the ability to communicate effectively with our members and guests.
- High school diploma/GED required.
- Prior experience in a reputable full-service restaurant.
- Beverage and culinary knowledge.
- A demonstrated passion for training extraordinary teams and motivating staff.
- Passion and understanding of great customer service.
- Understanding of food safety standards and protocol.
- Extremely reliable and responsible.
- Ability to organize, prioritize and plan.
- Effective communication skills, coaching mentality, calm and effective disposition when under pressure, resourceful approach to problems.
- Ability to utilize a restaurant POS software platform.
- Background check and drug screening required.
- Knowledgeable of safety training, procedures and best practices used throughout the sports and wellness industry.
