Position Overview: Clinical therapist will provide outpatient PERINATAL MENTAL HEALTH COUNSELING to individual, couple, and/or family therapy to clients of Mountain Crest Counseling (MCC) via TELEHEALTH. Clinical therapy services include the treatment of adults, couples, and families.
About Mountain Crest Counseling: Mountain Crest Counseling aims to become our community 'go-to' for exceptional Perinatal Mental Health Care.
To achieve this goal, all providers at Mountain Crest Counseling are required to have completed or are in the process of completing Postpartum Support International's (PSI) Perinatal Mental Health Professional certification (PMH-C). This certification includes an Advanced Perinatal Mental Health Psychotherapy course. Providers must complete twelve approved continuing education credits every two years to remain up-to-date with the latest in Perinatal Mental Health and in good standing with PSI.
An offer of this position includes financial support in your effort to complete the Perinatal Mental Health Professional Certification.

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Perform clinical counseling services to clients of MCC, as scheduled, and in accordance with company policies and contract agreements.
- Regular and reliable attendance and timely arrival to work is required.
- Be properly licensed and abide by all laws, rules, regulations, and codes of ethics that are binding upon or applicable to the services performed for MCC.
- Respond to clients’ requests for service or calls within 24 hours of business hours whether such requests are made in person, by phone, voicemail, etc., or through the MCC website.
- Respond to such requests by meeting, evaluating, and providing services to such clients.
- Communicate with a client’s treatment team (i.e., PCP, psychiatrist, OBGYN, etc.) as necessary.
- Timely complete written records for each client including, but not limited to: intake assessments, progress notes, treatment plans, discharge plans, and other forms or documents which may be needed or required from time to time by MCC or third parties in conjunction with the treatment of the client within a timely fashion
- Keep client files accurate and up to date.
- Charge and collect payments from clients for services provided consistent with the policy and rate for such services as established by MCC.
- Conduct and regulate counseling services in a professional manner so as to maintain and increase the good will and reputation of MCC.

- Other duties as may be assigned and agreed upon per contract or contract amendment.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Master’s Degree or Doctoral Degree in counseling or social work; and
- Active, independent license (LCSW, LMFT, LCPC ) in the State of New Mexico (must be fully licensed). A copy must be provided to MCC.
- Available to hold at least 15 client sessions per week, provided such sessions are available and referred/scheduled by MCC.

- Be able to work independently on tasks assigned.
