Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. As a Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing direct patient care and assisting with daily activities. Duties:
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Take vital signs and record patient information
- Administer medication under the supervision of a registered nurse
- Assist with patient mobility and transfers
- Monitor patients' condition and report any changes to the nursing staff
- Provide emotional support to patients and their families
- Ensure a clean and safe environment for patients
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited Nursing Assistant program
- Current certification as a Nursing Assistant
- Knowledge of basic medical terminology and procedures
- Experience with electronic medical record systems (Epic, eClinicalWorks, etc.)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Skills:
- Proficient in patient assessment techniques
- Familiarity with tube feeding procedures
- Ability to accurately document medical information
