Overview:
This position is a temporary full time contract for local candidates interested in working in the Lewes campus Emergency Department.
This position is responsible for the direct and indirect nursing care of the emergency care patient. This position requires knowledge of departmental and hospital policies relevant to the delivery of emergency care. Interpretive skills, frequent interactive and consultative associations are inherent in this position.

Collects adequate and correct blood/urine specimens from patients as ordered by physicians, using proper technique and equipment.

Correctly labels specimens and processes.

Ensures appropriate delivery of specimens to the lab via courier or specimen pick up from outside agencies.

Medication safety.
Qualifications:
- Minimum one year Emergency Department or Critical Care experience preferred.

PALS within 6 month required

TNCC within 1 year required

Contract 6-13 weeks No benefits offered.

Casual status with requirements according to what will be defined in the offer letter with start and end dates of employment.

Leadership will monitor the renewing of contracts.
Credentials:
- RN - Registered Nurse
- BLS - Basic Life Saving certification
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support
- NIH - Stroke Certification
Nonessential:
- BABY Certification-15 Hrs Online, 5 Hrs Observation
