Earthtec Engineering’s Salt Lake City, UT office is currently looking for ENTRY level to EXPERIENCED Construction Materials Technicians to join our team! Pay is commensurate with experience and certifications.
Construction Materials Technicians are entry to experienced field technicians that may hold the appropriate ACI, UDOT, WAQTC and other certifications. Pay is commensurate with level of experience and certifications. They perform daily testing of construction projects, monitoring quality and adherence to building code requirements, construction drawings and project specifications. Earthtec Engineering is in need of entry level technicians with no experience to experienced technicians with certifications. Daily work will include the testing and observation of soils, concrete, asphalt and other materials on construction sites. Preparing daily inspection reports and providing written and electronic documentation of observation and testing of materials. Organizational skills, computer skills, clean driving record are required. You will be provided with a company vehicle, phone, safety equipment and all tools required to perform your work.

Requirements:
- Must have a GREAT ATTITUDE and LOVE working on construction sites and outdoors in all types of weather
- These positions do not have set schedules and times as construction happens at all times of the day. At the same time, the job does not get routine or boring as it provides a lot of variability in locations and types of projects.
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable violation history
- Those with existing ACI, UDOT and other certifications will be paid appropriately.
- You will be required to maintain a company vehicle and cell phone and be able to organize your daily schedule.
- Experienced inspectors with UDOT, ACI, WAQTC, ICC, or other industry certifications all needed and encouraged to apply.

Pay: $18.00 - $30.00 per hour
