SUMMARY
This position will manage an inside sales campaign with Lenovo long tail resellers to unearth new Lenovo opportunities at existing D&H accounts along with prospecting for new resellers purchasing Lenovo Commercial Think products.
Lenovo Sales Specialist serves as a conduit between D&H Inside/Outside Sales, Resellers and Lenovo for the achievement of customer and vendor satisfaction by proactively calling out to long tail partners to achieve revenue generation, goal attainment and long-term business goals in line with D&H’s vision and values; to grow sales of Lenovo Business products at D&H.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Outbound calls daily to long tail Lenovo resellers—prospects & current partners
- Gain mindshare and drive awareness of Lenovo/D&H SMB strategy with focus on Top sellers
- Message & drive attendance to Lenovo Live Events
- Proactively message & work with D&H sales, buying & marketing teams to track, drive and promote sales promotions and programs
- Target current Silver and below resellers with declining Lenovo sales
- Evangelize Lenovo’s AMD configurations and follow up on reseller activity with AMD
- Pushing current Lenovo deals & programs to Silver and below resellers
- Work with current long tail resellers purchasing only one Lenovo category to broaden depth of Lenovo products & educate on the Lenovo Solution
- Manage lead development, follow-up and closure; Provide support necessary to develop leads and follow them to closure
- Grow the profitable sales and market share for Lenovo within D&H
- Build a basic understanding of Lenovo programs, product offerings and Lenovo’s key competitive products both for Lenovo Business Sales Champ and for sales team
- Attend Lenovo specific trainings with D&H and Lenovo personnel and online, as needed or required
- Interact & engage with Lenovo Field PBMs to turn leads into Lenovo business
- Engage D&H VAR Field Sales Reps
- Recapping reseller feedback and sharing with Lenovo team to help generate incremental business
- Data-mining for the purpose of broadening product depth and developing new net resellers
- Sell Lenovo and place customer orders in computer system
- Answer phone and respond to all customer requests
- Sales Specialist inbox coverage as needed
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
o High school diploma or equivalent certification required
o 1 to 3 years office experience
