Job Overview:
Well-established Materials Handling Distributor, located in Westmont, IL, is looking to hire an experienced and detail-oriented on-site Accounting Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will be a hands on multi-tasker, with the added responsibility of a wide range of accounting and administrative tasks to ensure the smooth functioning of our office. This position is full-time, on-site, with advancement opportunities to Office Manager. Salary is commensurate with experience.
Training in/general duties include:
- Financial record keeping
- Payroll processing
- Accounts payable processing
- Accounts receivable processing
- Sales taxes
- Coordination of in-house office/maintenance repairs
- General company record keeping
Qualifications:
- Three years' experience in accounting processes, including cost accounting
- Strong organizational skills
- Detail-oriented with a main focus on accuracy
- Ability to manage and provide guidance as needed
- Contribute to a positive work environment
- Knowledge of Sage 100 software a plus, but not required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $48,000.00 per year
